Great summary Katie! I used World Book Kids today in class during reading time. One of my groups was reading about hippos and had a question about how long they can hold their breath. We found out that hippos can hold their breath for 6 minutes.
ReplyDeletePS: in the middle of your post under the Advanced section, you had a typo - the word information.
Can't wait to read next week's post!
Hey, Katie! Nice to have teammates chiming in here! Thanks for your post. We agree that a WB/Smartboard combination works well. I hope you will try some of WB's special features: Kids--"World of Animals," "Compare Places," "Games & Activities;" Student & Advanced--"Timelines," Discover--"World Book Explains Videos" and "Visual Dictionary."
